Searching for a hotel apartment
There are two ways to search for the right hotel apartments.

1) DateSearch – Use the calendar boxes on the home page to check availability in your preferred location.

Grading hotel apartments

Hotel apartments are graded according to our own system including four possible stars respectively for service, furnishing, location and exclusive features. Grading helps ensure that visitors can reasonably compare hotel apartments in terms of features and value for money.
The grading system is based on four“stars”, each of which indicates the following quality:

SERVICE Starserviced and managed by our staff, guaranteed consistency of quality and service.

 

FURNISHING Star - Superior  fittings and furnishings. Hotel apartments  have wide range of full domestic, entertainment and luxury features of comfortable accommodation. New modern style furnishing, freshly renovated, ideal for international guests, executives, honeymoon couples, families, short or longer stay visitors.

LOCATION StarCommunicative location usually in the city centre within walking distance to the major places of the city or in exclusively luxury quarters with perfect connections to the airport and to the city centre.
 

VIP Star - Luxury hotel apartment with exquisite fittings and furnishings. Typically boasting an extensive complement of domestic, entertainment and luxury features such as: mountain or city views, security guards, concierge, car garage, pool or SPA, tennis court or gym, exceptional privacy.

 

Booking

Making a Booking
Bookings can be made through the on-line booking form, by E-mail, fax or telephone.

After choosing the apartment you would like, you can check the availability at the availability calendar. Please fill in the booking form and send it. Our staff will review it and contact you back with a confirmation as soon as possible either by telephone or email.

 

Changing a booking
Generally, changing a booking is possible without additional charge. However, this will depend on the availability of free apartments for the requested period.

If there is a difference in the prices of the booked apartments, it shall be compensated.

 

Cancelling a booking

A booking can be cancelled without additional charge 10 days before arrival at the latest.

If you have to cancel your booking less than 10 days prior to arrival, we will have to charge you with 20% of the amount for your requested booking.

 

Visit in advance
Yes, it is possible subject to availability, occupancy and property servicing.

Should you require visiting the apartment in advance, please inform us about your requested time by E-mail or writing it in the free space provided for your comments in the booking form. We are going to contact you in 24 hours /on business days/ to make an appointment.

 

Security deposit
A security deposit  may be required by the appointed property manager on Arrival. The standard amount of the deposit is €100. It can be paid by credit card or cash. This is kept by the appointed property manager until the hotel apartment has been vacated and an inspection of the property has been carried out. If there has been no damage to the property the security deposit is returned to the visitor.

For regular clients a security deposit is not required

 

 

Property address
The property address is provided on the booking receipt and emailed to you in your booking confirmation. If you require specific information, please contact our office.

 

Payment

Typically the overall payment for your stay is required on your arrival. The payment can be made by credit card or cash. For stays longer than 30 days payments shall be made regularly on a monthly basis.

 

Departure

Visitors are required to vacate the hotel apartment by 11 a.m.  on the day following the last night of rental. The rent is calculated up to and including the last night. The keys must be returned by 11 a.m. The security deposit will be returned to the visitor following the inspection. Visitors should arrange the inspection with their appointed property manager if required.

 

Key Return

The appointed property manager will inform you of the arrangements for the return of keys. Typically the visitor must depart the hotel apartment by 11am on the departure date (ie the day following the last night).
The keys are usually collected at the hotel apartment by the manager at the time of the pre-departure inspection. If you have to take an early flight or leave at night, you can arrange with your appointed property manager an inspection in advance and leave the keys in the hotel apartment by departure

Minimum Booking Period

Each hotel apartment has a minimum stay as set  in the property details. This period is usually 2 nights but some hotel apartments may have a longer minimum stay. Please check the period in the property details.
A visitor may arrive and depart within the period booked at their convenience provided that they comply with the terms and conditions.

Overstay

A visitor may request to extend their initial booking, however this request must be made  at least 24 hours prior to the departure date. Extensions are subject to availability. If the hotel apartment is not available beyond the departure date the visitors will be required to depart and we will endeavor to find suitable alternative accommodation.

 

Sleeping spaces

The number of persons that can be accommodated is specified in the property description.
The number of sleeping spaces is the maximum number of people permitted to stay overnight at the hotel apartment.
This may include sofa beds.
Please check in the property details if sofa beds are included.

Utilities

Utilities are: electricity, water and central heating.

For short stays less than 3 months, utilities are typically included
and reasonable usage is covered. Excess bills (more than 30% on same period previously) are payable by the Visitor.

For long stays of more than 3 months or leases, typically utilities are excluded and billing for electricity,
central heating and water usage charges are paid by the Visitor.

 

Internet Connection

Each hotel apartment is different so please check the property advert to ensure the internet set up suits your requirements.

There are several types of  available high-speed internet connection with no traffic limit: Cable (LAN), ADSL and Wireless. The cost is included in the rental price.

Cable(LAN)  connection is available at most hotel apartments. It is provided by the Cable TV Operator.

 

ADSL requires a telephone line to be active. Telephones are available in some hotel apartments but not all. Generally hotel apartments with a telephone line have active ADSL connection.

 

Wireless connection is provided in most hotel apartments no matter if they have Cable or ADSL connection as well.

 

Please be aware that we don’t provide PCs in the hotel apartments. To use these internet connections you need your own PC or NoteBook. You can find detailed connection instructions in your room or ask the appointed property manager.     

 

Telephone

Telephones are available at some hotel apartments. You can dial numbers within the city free of charge. However, you can not make national or international calls.  If visitors have special communication requirements, a prepaid calling card may provide the best solution. Please check with our staff to ensure that the telephone service available meets your requirements.

Furnishings

All hotel apartments listed on our site  are fully furnished. Furnishings may vary, please read the property advert carefully to ensure the hotel apartment has the inclusions you require.

Cooking facilities

All apartments are fully equipped with cooking facilities needed to prepare your own meal.

For detailed information about the particular facilities available please check if the relevant boxes are ticked.

 

Cleaning

Professional cleaning is provided during the stay and it is included in the price.

Regular cleaning service is provided twice a week for longer stays and bed linen is changed once a week.

 

Laundry Facilities

The laundry facilities available at each hotel apartment are indicated in the property details. A washing machine and washing detergents are provided. Clothes dryers are also available.  

 

Property Security

All hotel apartments are equipped with a high security door and keys. Most hotel apartments are provided with a security system directly connected to the police. It is strongly recommended to use it during your stay. For details please find the guiding booklet in your apartment or ask your appointed property manager.

 

Damage & Breakages

At the time of arrival all the properties have lists of the available equipment and its condition. Please check it. Any damage to the property that occurs during the visitor's stay will be the responsibility of the visitor. Any costs incurred as a result of these damages shall be compensated by the visitor.   

 

Pets

Most hotel apartments don’t allow pets. Please contact  our office to confirm that your pet is welcome in the requested hotel apartment.

Privacy

Your privacy is our priority. All personal details submitted to SofiaHotelApartments.com are treated with utmost confidence and  shall not in any case be  disclosed to any third party.

Invoice

SofiaHotelApartments.com provides invoices and receipts for all payments made. You will usually be issued your invoice by your appointed property manager at the time of payment upon your accommodation.

Currency

Please have in mind that the local currency is Bulgarian Leva (BGN).

However, all rates and charges quoted are in Euros and we accept payments in Euro.

Children in properties
Children are welcome at properties.
Our apartments are suitable for young children as we can provide cots for them to sleep in and high chairs for meal times. Should you need those, please mark it in your booking form.

 

Wheelchair access

Some hotel apartments are set at ground level and there is adequate access for wheelchairs throughout the property, or there is access via an elevator. Visitors requiring wheelchair access are encouraged to contact SofiaHotelApartments.com  to help find a suitable hotel apartment.
